I just had a traumatic experience in between classes. I was walking from one building to another using the sidewalk near "Lake KneeDeep," the pond/lake on campus. We have geese that live in/near the lake. Well, we're normally talking 5 or 6 geese. No. Today, we're talking 20 or so geese. So, as I'm walking down the sidewalk, this gaggle of geese decided it would be the perfect time to cross the sidewalk to get to Lake KneeDeep. So, I'm dodging geese left and right in order to get to class on time. On of the geese did not appreciate me mingling with his gaggle, because he proceeded to hiss at me. It was very unfriendly and looked a little like this:
This isn't the exact goose I saw, because I was too concerned for my life to stop and pull out my camera. But, you get the picture.
It was so scary. I don't like geese because when I was little, I was on a field trip and we were having a picnic and some geese chased me in pursuit of my sandwich, so I relented and gave it to them and fled for my life. As a result, I have since hated geese; thus making today's experience quite horrific.
